Research Company MCA, Inc. Takes a Council Seat

The research/implementation firm MCA Inc., headquartered in Flint, Michigan, has contributed $100,000 to ELECTRI International, joining the ELECTRI Council at the Founder level. The firm’s President/CEO, Dr. Perry Daneshgari, is well-known to the electrical construction community. Over the past 20 years, MCA has worked closely with the Foundation on a variety of critical productivity research projects. Through MCA’s work with ELECTRI, the construction industry now has an ASTM-approved construction productivity measurement standard.

Since its 1990 founding, MCA has offered services focused on implementing process and product development, waste reduction and productivity improvement of labor, project management, estimation, accounting and customer care.  The firm works with a wide variety of domestic and international clients in construction (electrical, mechanical and general contractors), banking, automotive (product development and manufacturing), medical, health care, and insurance organizations.

Daneshgari recently spoke with the Foundation about his company’s involvement with ELECTRI. “I believe we have a great opportunity to bring our knowledge of the industry to the table and help the Foundation select pragmatic programs that really meet contractor needs – especially the small contractors. We know that ELECTRI International is at the leading edge of association foundations and we look forward to our new relationship.”

When asked how he might encourage other companies to become involved with ELECTRI, Daneshgari explained, “ELECTRI is at the heartbeat of the industry. If your company wants to know what matters in electrical construction and what drives the industry, you need to be involved with this Foundation.”
