Researchers from nine institutions entered ELECTRI International’s 2016 competition for an Early Career Award grant. Each proposal addresses a key research need within the electrical construction industry.

The ELECTRI Program Review Committee selected three finalists. Each researcher has been invited to attend the ELECTRI Council meeting in Napa, California in July to offer the presentation for Council’s consideration.  The finalists for 2016 are:

  • Augmented Reality Visualization for Prefabrication of Electrical Systems, Steven K. Ayer, Arizona State University
  • Best Practices for Early Adoption of Productivity Improvement Programs, Brian Lines, University of Kansa
  • Flexible Overhead: Agile Strategies That Increase Electrical Contractor Profitability, Jake Smithwick, University of North Carolina at Charlotte
