Legacy Initiative

Dick and Darlene McBride's generous gift of $250,000 to ELECTRI International's Education Center established the Foundation's Legacy Initiative. Officially named "The Darlene and Richard McBride Legacy Initiative Honoring the San Diego Chapter of NECA and the Electrical Contracting Industry", their gift is dedicated to providing retirement, succession, and estate planning education for electrical contractors throughout the country. This Initiative is one of the many ways in which ELECTRI International fulfills its mandate help electrical contractors meet today's demands and tomorrow's challenges.
Through their genuine love of the electrical industry and recognizing its importance in their lives, Dick and Darlene McBride have establish a legacy both for themselves and for the future of the electrical construction industry. Dick McBride explained, "We decided that our personal legacy to the Foundation would be to give it the resources to create educational programs and materials for contractors to learn about financial and estate planning and about the variety of ways we can give to those charitable organizations that are close to our heart."
